The drive to Krka was probably the second most daunting thing I’ve done since we’ve been in Croatia. I may talk big about mountains (and I love them, truly I do) but truthfully, I am utterly petrified of heights so getting behind the wheel and getting us to Krka was a big thing for me. But I needed the practise if I’m to do this by myself in a few short weeks time, and ultimately doing shit that scares the hell out of you - to the point where you think you’re gonna break down and cry - is so, so worth it. All that stress you carry from your every day just melts away when you immerse yourself in nature; waist-deep in crystal clear water, watching the fish swim by your feet. -- source link
