Happy Épiphanie ! Today is the day for galette des rois :) Or if we’re being honest, the first day of an entire month spent eating galettes. Only stopping in February because la Chandeleur begins i.e. time to eat crêpes.I’m happy with the way my galette turned out, the frangipane was just right. (I was too lazy to glaze the dough let alone draw one of those nice patterns on it but it tasted the same I swear…) And if we’re looking for silver linings—at least this year with no big gatherings, the competition for the crown is less cutthroat. -- source link
