From what I can tell, this is some kind of Shield Bug, “Kamemushi” (カメムシ) of which there are a great number in japan!This one does look like a nymph, and I believe it’s a ハサミツノカメムシ (Acanthosoma labiduroides) as it’s very similar to the ones at that link!
