The quote “Wendy, run away with me” actually comes from an All Time Low song called Somewhere in Neverland. It’s about growing up, accepting your responsibilities, and all that boring adult stuff that drives you insane, when all you want is a little escape. Somewhere where you can be young again. So Alex, the lead singer, asks a girl to run a way with him because he can be her everything better plan, that he’ll always be there for her, that he will be her escape.
