palaeofail-explained:palaeofail:Found this in TJMaxx…- That “Diplodocus” is clearly meant to be a brachiosaur….with a diplodocid head??- The plesiosaur is labeled “celofizis” which………..appears to be a misspelling of Coelophysis, which is a dinosaur that looked nothing like a plesiosaur.- That’s Pteranodon - if you’re gonna use scientific names for one of them, do it for all.- Sauropods, iguanodonst, and stegosaurs did not walk with their hands flat on the ground, but rather on the tips of their toes.I don’t generally point this sort of stuff out, but I’d like to note the complete disconnect between the cartoony style of the stegosaur with the more realistic style of the rest, as well as the cartoony brachiosaur body with a realistic diplodocid head stuck on it. And the Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus appear to be copied from Scott Hartman’s skeletals….Not to mention that quite a few of them seem to be ripoffs of Scott Hartman skeletals. The Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus in particular look very similar to Hartman’s: -- source link
