More info to come.” Video appeared to show the crowd running as panic broke out. Update: New reports out of Nice, France, suggest “at least 30” onlookers were killed in the Bastille Day incident. The AP also reported that a French official had reason to call the truck crash “an attack.“ Update: Police have called the truck that crashed into a crowd of revelers during a Bastille Day celebration in Nice, France late Thursday a “terror attack.” At least 60 people are believed to have been killed, according to French prosecutor. Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice, has also tweeted an important message to everyone in Nice. Update: At least 70 people are now believed to have been killed, according to officials. Eyewitnesses also have reported that the driver engaged in violent behavior when exiting the truck. President Barack Obama on Thursday night condemned the “horrific terrorist attack” in Nice, France in which the death toll has continued to rise. Update: The death toll has been increased to 77 with up to 100 injured. Reuters cited BMF-TV in reporting the death toll could be as high as 80. The driver was fatally shot by French police.
