dragonageconfessions: CONFESSION: In my ESL class, I was always cast as the narrator in school plays. I was a girl so I couldn’t play the hero, I was too ugly to play the damsel, and too short to play the villain. I was supposed to just stand there and recite my lines, but I always got bored and began to improvise, crack jokes, etc. I turned the narrator into a character with a backstory and personality. The teachers (and the class prima) hated it, but the audience loved it. Now I realize that all this time, I have been Varric. -- source link
