Honey Birdette ‘Bridgette’ Chemise I don’t think I ever intended to post this piece as a review, but I figured I must as it’s something I keep going back to. The Bridgette slip by Honey Birdette is one of my most-worn slips. It’s just that ‘easy/effortless glam’ little thing that I reach for, usually when I am tired, but still want to feel a bit special. It’s a stretch satin that has a nice lustre to it, has a slightly shaped bust, adjustable straps and eyelash lace trim. I wash it in a lingerie bag, I’d say, once a week. The satin is still in perfect condition (DO NOT put in dryer!) but the eyelash lace is starting to fray a little around the edges, even with the lingerie bag, but that is generally unavoidable with any eyelash lace, even if handwashing it in lukewarm angel tears blessed by deities and then trickled down an enchanted forest stream. The center of the bust has a beautiful crystal detail. The fit is amazing on me personally and it’s super stretchiness makes it a comfortable and reliable piece, even during weight fluctuations. I love this so much I own it in multiple colorways and if it was released in another colorway again, I would probably buy that too.
