Hieronymus of Beverningk, Dutch ambassador extraordinary at an audience with Spanish Queen Regent Maria Anna of Austria on 2nd of March 1671. The ambassador kneels at the feet of the Queen, dressed as an abbess and hands her a letter. Behind the table is Cardinal Luis Fernandes de Portocarrero, a counselor of the regent .
