ladylowkeyed:not to be therapeutic on main, but my therapist spent some time today reminding me that my friends and family stuck by me because they love me and they love me because i’m lovable and i had to cry about it for a few minutes.so y’all are probably lovable too just in case you have doubts about it. Not to also be therapeutic on main, but people telling me they love and appreciate me is waaaaaaaayyyyy too much emotional connection for me, and if you’re the same just know the feeling of panic is valid, and it doesn’t make you a bad person. BUT be sure to explain to your friends/partner/family what ways they can show that they care about you without endangering your sense of safety. -- source link
