REBLOG THE FUCK OUT OF THIS BRO the only colors available after a c cup are white, brown, black, and for those special occasions…fluorescent orange. As a former employee of Victoria’s Secret, I can attest to this being the truth. Good luck finding a good DD bra in any section other than the Body By Victoria nude colors section. You know what was my first tought when i lost weight and my boobs were a little smaller? “I CAN FINALLY WEAR PRETTY BRAS WOHOOOOO!” Bravissimo - size range - 28D-40L - Prices from £20 Cleo - Size range to up a J cupCurvy kate - size range cup sizes from DD to K and band sizes from 28-44Elomi– Many sizes Fantasie– Their bras start at 30D and go up to 40G with prices beginning in the low $40sFauve– Standard sets but sizing mostly starts at 30D and ends at 40GFreya– Sizes start at 28D and bra prices start at $42Masquerade– Band sizes start at 28 and go up to 38. Fun colors, sizes that actually fit! And you can sometimes get them on sale, which is even better. (Do take note the difference in cup sizes between US/EU sizing.) May I recommend Bravissimo? I got the best fitting of my LIFE at their Chelsea, NYC store, and they have all kinds of bras for big-boobed women. My boobs have never been happier or prettier. For anyone who may need it! -FemaleWarrior As a woman who wears a 42 US L/UK HH ELOMI!! Everyone thinks its all rainbows and unicorns having big knockers…nope, just biege, white, black and sometimes grey. Kinda random side point but if you’ve had bra fit struggles your whole life (regardless of your size) check out “abrathatfits” on reddit. Their sizing concepts take adjusting to if you’re used to the “everyone on the planet is supposed to be a 32-38 band size and A-DD cup size” mindset…and the idea that certain cup sizes are “small” regardless of band size and others are “big” regardless of band size…which isn’t true. Your ‘new’ size will probably sound too small in the band and too big in the cup and once you know your new size it’ll take trying on a lot of bras to figure out your shape, because that matters just as much as your size. And you may have to order online or find a nice bra boutique that does a better range of sizes if you aren’t in matrix bra sizing. But, it’s legit. My friend and a bra store and she rarely even uses a tapev measure to size you. She kinda looks you up and down and she what you’re currently wearing. I’ve never had a better fitting bra on my whole life! And guess what? The band is smaller and the cup is bigger than I would have expected. PLEASE don’t go to Victoria’s secret and have them size you. Find a legit bra store. I promise you it will change your life lol Yes! I had never been measured before so I Don’t even know how I decided on the bra size I wore from middle school up til last year, lol. But victoria’s secret and most other places will measure your underbust and add 4 inches which makes NO sense because the band needs to be snug as that’s where the support of the bra comes from. Which, I had kinda suspected in the past that my band size was too big? But when I Tried to downsize band size, I kept hte same cup size (becuase I thought it would be the same on a smaller band) and then it was too small, put pressure on my underbust, so I thought well clearly a smaller underbust is too small. When, no. The band size was fine, but you have to go up a cup size if you go down a band size, to maintain the same amount of volume. But if the cups are too small, the pressure gets applied around your underbust so it makes you think the band is too small when actually the cups are. I was thinking the other day about how I miss being able to wear “pretty” Bras -- source link
