The costumes worn by everyone in James Cameron’s ’Titanic’ (1997) were almost entirely authentic clothing from 1910-2. Deborah Lynn Scott and her team of 5 travelled the world in search of antique pieces. Eventually, the costume team ballooned to 45 people, which was necessary for the task of dressing such a huge cast! It took so many people to collect the pieces because everyone in the cast was fully dressed, from head to toe in genuine antique clothing which was accurate to the period. -- source link
