nairobiwonders: I love this the way these two work(ed) together. Watch Lucy/Watson’s hand - she comes around his front and with the back of her hand effortlessly moves his arm - which is ragdoll limp and offers no resistance - so she can wrap her arms around him. They must have done a little work on getting this just right. Watch Jonny/Sherlock’s eyes esp. at the end of the sequence when it almost looks like he is thinking it’s not too bad of feeling to be held after all when she just minutely snuggles in. My headcanon is she has hugged him a few times previous to this, working a careful routine of touches so he knows what to expect and eventually he realizes he likes the contact.
