What the actual… what now??  I don’t know when this happened but THANK YOU to each and every one of you who follows me. Only as far back as October last year, I had around 450 followers (and was extremely grateful but shocked I had that many because I don’t have a fandom related URL and thought I was pretty invisible to be honest!) I still run my blog exactly the same way as I always have, rather selfishly perhaps, for me. But it’s SO lovely to see that there are lots of new people who seem to have found this hyperactive little bird and like the same *shifty eyes* often weird and random stuff that I do!So genuinely…All and well deserved @thehumming6ird I second that. YOU ROCK. @thehumming6irdThe motion has passed! @thehumming6ird is fantastic! Seriously, some of the best gifs! (Teach me!) . Fist bump!Aw, bless you @tinchentitri @devikafernando @acebakes I know I say it a lot but thank you all. I just make what I want to see… (usually hands, eyelashes, erm thighs, feet, did i mention hands? Ooh… fingers. And the knuckles… oh and the pinkie of doom… And Shakespeare. And all of the quintessential Hiddles nonsense) so apparently you’re all as weird as I am In definitely just as weird @thehumming6ird .I just can’t make gifs so I come to you .(And we’re not even only talking about gifs, I love your writing and your opinion on a few things on here.)Ehehehe… ‘opinion’ *wink wink* @tinchentitriAhem… anyhoo… re: the writing (which incidentally I do realise I am woefully behind on due to this damn man and his oh so giffable face) want to know a funny little story? The sole reason I started making gifs was because of my writing! As you know I do like to make my angst-ridden, smutty tales into somewhat of an adult (ahem… not that kind of adult) picture book. And as a fellow Potter aficionado I thought “Ooh! What if I were to add a couple of moving images? That won’t be remotely painful… right?” So I made the (albeit crappy because back then I didn’t have PS or know anything about colouring etc) gifs. I added them to my stories - firstly about a certain Chase Landry (who I don’t expect anybody but a handful of people to even know - i’m looking at you @crazytxgradstudent @obsessedwithpretty79), then Fassy, and then Mr H. And then I had all these random gifs sat on my computer and didn’t know what to do with them…So I started posting them. I remember getting ridiculously excited when someone (seriously… anyone!) liked them. And I still do today. I might have got (hopefully) a bit better at it. But I know I’m not even remotely close to being as good as a lot of people on here. That’s not false modesty by the way. I look at tons of gifs on here and literally scratch my head, wondering how the hell they made them so beautiful! But I’m totally fine with that. I’m just an old fart who taught herself because she was going through a lot of personal crap and needed something to take her mind off it. Mr H, and Benedict, and Fassy came along and brightened my day and I wanted to share the things I loved about them, however *ahem* weird some of those things were…I mean, eyelashes?? What’s that all about?? So, erm yeah. Here we are! So if you want to make gifs? Or do anything else for that matter? Give it a go! what’s the worst that could happen? Bloody hell! Sorry, I never intended this to turn into a navel gazing moment! (Now you see why I have such an affinity with Tom. We’re both rather verbose!) Anyhoo… On we go.
