Or got roughed up when breaking up a fight? What was he, the accountant? Do the cops owe him an apology, absolutely. However they detained him because he matched a description of a criminal according to his story. They laughed at him because he said they had the wrong guy which is the most ridiculous line a criminal would say when caught. And while I don’t condone it, I’m sure if we saw video we’d see they nailed him in the gut because he wasn’t listening to their orders to get down while they secured the scene.
