Designed by partners Sally Breer and Jake Rodehuth-Harrison, Cafe Birdie is an alluring Californian cafe with a richly intriguing concept. Based around the lavish life of a fictional bon vivant ‘Birdie’ the interior immerses guests into the narrative of a woman who was born in Cuba, emigrated to Miami and moved to New Orleans with her French husband. Located in Los Angeles’ Highland Park, the old-world aesthetic, with its marble-top counters, sea foam green panels, copper finishes and high ceilings, transcends the flavor of a Parisian bistro.
