So, this isn’t R&L, but Fox still gave me the prompt for “Little Mermaid” Schoethe, and this is the result, and I think it’s really damn good, so nevermind me babbling for a bit. The background is okay-ish at best, but the foreground wave and the rocks? Pretty good for a first try. Also a first try on naked male musculature, so be kind there. Friedrich is a little more ripped than I had planned, but other than that? So cute! Too much hair for a fishy being, as promised, and I like that little seashell jewelry bit. Fins and gills weren’t so difficult, but trying to make the scales look a bit shimmery? Oof. Friedrich Schillert. Yes, that joke already exists, but I like it. With JoWo, I originally planned to go with a historically accurate take for the first time, but then I remembered that this is a Little Mermaid scenario - he wouldn’t be wearing wig and a full outfit after surviving a shipwreck. Still kinda wound up with a super pretty waistcoat though… Uh, well, it’s Goethe. He’s Just That Fashionable. Concept “Goethe mit Schillerkragen”? Round of applause! He looks so nice in it! Also, I really like his hair? Somehow? I dunno, the curls are pretty. (Not the body hair. I always get a crisis over drawing body hair.) And now those dumbasses be sitting there making eyes at each other. I’m proud, okay?I am IN LOVE!! LOOK AT THEM!!!!!!! They look so good!!! So pretty!! So cute!! I LOVE!!!! You have every right to be proud, this is truly gorgeous! -- source link
