lightsweep: The Pulpit When you’re wandering around the Watlowes Dry Valley in Malham, there are seemingly countless fascinating geological features to focus on for compositions. Narrowing down your options is a tricky task. I made a composition of this wonderful limestone crag, which marks the sudden end of Dean Moor Hill before dropping down into the Dry Valley. Sunset was approaching, giving me delicious honey light on the crag and limestone. =) Watlowes Dry Valley, Malhamdale, North Yorkshire, Yorkshire Dales, England. ISO100, ƒ/4.0, 1⁄25sec at 14mm (21mm full-frame equiv.) using a slim circular polariser and a soft 3-stop ND grad filter stacked on my Sigma dp0 Quattro. This is a single exposure shot twice for focus stacking, processed in Sigma’s Photo Pro, edited in Capture One and Photoshop. -- source link
