gymbunnycandie: gymbunnycandiehart: Let’s be Fa-BRO-lus! I’m fairly certain I could fill a diary with all of the wonderfully feminine clothes that I have tried on. But there’s one particular category that I have never experienced. GLAMOUR. The prom dress, the party dress, the cocktail dress, the bridesmaid dress. To be fair, I’m not really a formal kind of guy. I’m very casual. Not only do I prefer casual as a guy, but I’m quite drawn to the women’s casual and athletic. Yet, there is a thin emerald thread running through my heart that yearns for the chance to sparkle–that wants the gown, sequins, and matching heels, the makeover, the corsage, and the wine to toast the evening. It’s not fair that girls get to dress so sensationally. I’m green with envy. I’d like to try it. To be a boy, glammed up, decked out, and prepared as if for display would not only be fabulous, it would be fa-BRO-lus. Even right now, the thought of gliding across the dance floor, standing on stage with bridesmaids in a row, or working a crowd with champagne in hand, tickles my feminine imagination. I like the word, “fabrolus.” Sure, I made it up, but I still like it. If there was a celebratory ball for a girly brotherhood, that’s what I’d call it: “A Fa-BRO-lus Celebration”. We’d be fabrolous together as we danced the night away! We could ooh and ahh over each other’s formal gowns, compliment our heels, compare French manicures, giggle over our fake cleavage, and envy each other’s up-do’s, We’d cheer each other through our painted lips, saying, “Bro, you’re looking fabrolous tonight.” And at the end of the night, we could crown some beautiful guy, “Miss FaBROlus.” Yes, I think that would be fun. I think that would be extraordinary. No, I think that would be fa-BRO-lus! Keep it unreal, my girly friends! CandieHart To all of my followers, “You are Fa-BRO-lus!” -- source link
