Day 29Reflections on: Extra Ordinary (2019)This is a bit more comedy than horror but it was great!Maeve Higgins, who plays the protagonist, is hilarious.Excellent barf acting.This reminded me of both Look Around You and Gentlemen Broncos (2009) - both of which I love.Will Forte is perfect as always and makes excellent facial expressions.Nice use of ectoplasm and a blood moon.The cinematography was beautiful. Everything looked so perfect it seemed artificial - but in a good way!The time period this is set in seems vague. Everyone uses Nokia brick cell phones and all the characters’ clothes seem dated. -- source link
