Day 32?Reflections on: The Lighthouse (2019)Willem Dafoe is amazing. His long monologues are almost cartoonish - but in a good way. He is the quintessential lighthouse keeper.Robert Pattinson tries his best to act alongside Willem. His accent at times made me laugh out loud. What is it? New Jersey? Irish? There’s way more jerking off than I thought there would be. It reminded me at times of the Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite section of 2001: a Space Odyssey (1968) and the more arty black and white episodes of Twin Peaks. Excellent bird acting.Two lighthouse keepers would make a great couples costume for halloween. -- source link
