crabby-cake8: After 35 years, finally seeing our first Cape Cod Baseball League game. Go Orleans Firebirds! Ahh! I grew up at these games*! Our parents were always playing tennis on the courts nearby, and my brother and I would watch to pass the time. It’s where I first became a true baseball fan. Also, the first time a guy asked for my number, I was sitting on that hill. I was so excited, I inadvertently gave him my home phone number and not the number to my grandma’s house on the Cape. Once a baller, always a baller. *They will always be the Orleans Cardinals to me, though. -- source link
