magicalhometoursandstuff: When renovating this historic apt. in France, the designer’s problem
magicalhometoursandstuff: When renovating this historic apt. in France, the designer’s problem was where to relocate the original kitchen that was located in the back. She decided on the former dining room that had this spectacular fireplace. Isn’t it magnificent? One of the design team chose the blue, and of course, they gave it new tile. The cabinets are so beautiful and the designers painted them white to modernize the look. The rooms were open, so they enclosed them with a custom library wall flanked by large mirrors. They kept the historic look in the study, and gave it a bit of a modern refresh. The lovely master is minimally serene with softly gray floral wallpaper. There’s a marble fireplace in the bath, with bright blue walls, and vintage look fixtures. (There’s that popular modern light why do they like that thing so much?)https://www.desiretoinspire.net/category/blue/page/19/ -- source link
