I know lots of you sissies out there love hosiery. Both the way fine sheer pantyhose feel when you wear them and the silkiness as your legs rub together as you walk. But also I bet you admire young women who wear them stylishly and are preventing them from becoming the preserve of old women. One such woman who can get away with it is Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge. Being a princess makes you a trendsetter and the blue dresses she so adores are being copied and sold on the high street. I’ve even, just very recently, come across a pair of navy blue patent court shoes (which are ,frankly, gorgeous) online, and they’ve attached Kate’s name to them to sell them quicker.I just hope that she has enough appeal to make young women wear pantyhose when they want to dress up to go out. We could do with more young women wearing sheer hose as they will look even more attractive, as well as it leading to more styles and colours being available as demand grows. Yes, sometimes she goes for very fine denier in natural colour so it doesn’t look like she’s wearing any. But I promise that in all formal situations, Kate is wearing pantyhose as it is all part of Royal Protocol that legs are covered, same as the fact that open toe shoes are not allowed.
