so-much-to-play-with: There are days when you know what you should do. Days where you should be able to follow your guts because you know it’s the right way. And yet you can’t.Yesterday she was in tears for a small mistake and I was away and couldn’t comfort her. She was overwhelmed by work and I couldn’t lift her burden. She was panicking and I couldn’t soothe her. She was tired and I couldn’t send her to sleep.When I went home, I saw she needed some release. I saw she felt guilty for something that can happen to everyone and I could extract that from her. I should have spanked her, releasing the pressure, the guilt; putting her back where it’s safe, secured, forgiven, where she can be at peace. And god I wanted to!But I couldn’t, because of an agenda issue… I wish I could have found a way to help her that way. I told her, and I hope it helped. -- source link
