There’s a lot of clever things in Arcane but the dumbest clever thing is that Vi is Inmate 516. Her name is Vi. The tattoo on her face is her own name stylized as the Roman numerals VI, which is 5 (V) plus 1 (I) totaling 6. So Vi → VI  → 5 + 1 = 6  → Inmate 516.  I am taking psychic damage as I write this -- source link
