elasticitymudflap: Sapphship Star Captain AU u H… well basically Ruby and Sapphire planned to go rescue the rubies from their floaty space hell themselves, disguised as Blue Diamond gems who are on a mission to monitor the space around the Earth, and they were going to just pick the rubies up drop them off at the nearest functional galaxy warp after a briefing that they would ‘not inform their superiors about the presence of rebel gems, as that is top secret information’. … but the rubies are just so grateful to have been rescued and to be treated so kindly by the aristocratic gem captain that saved them, so now they’re kind of stuck pretending to be actual blue diamond agents and their de-facto leaders, because the rubies just fucknig pledged their undying loyalty to Captain Sapphire… … and “Captain Sapphire” physically can’t say no to a barrage of adorable ruby faces saying they ‘believe in her and will follow her to the end of the universe’… while ”Lieutenant Ruby” physically can’t say no to her “Captain’s” adorable sapphire face that just wants to ‘help them and do the right thing’, so they’ve just gotta roll with their bizarre Rube Ship Crew situation for now… -- source link
