Recently I’ve been having a lot of fun playing a new computer game - AnimalCrossing NewHorizons for the Nintendo Switch! But this game isn’t about collecting gems or rescuing a princess - instead, you get to live on an island and have conversations with cute animal villagers! This is probably one of the games I have ever played. But it’s not all fun and games - part of the gameplay of this game is a confusing stock-market style minigame called the “Stalk Market”. Here’s how to do the stalk market. GLHFMONDAYOn monday morning, the turnip price will be 10 lower than your initial buying price. On Monday evening, conversely, the turnip price will be 10 higher than your initial buying price. This is a trick to get you to sell early - don’t fall for it.TUESDAYOn Tuesday morning the turnip prices will be half your initial buying price. On Tuesday evening the turnip price is determined by an RNG seed based on your island name. I haven’t figured out the best way to manipulate the RNG quite yet, but if you want a selling price of 851 bells on Tuesday evening, name your island Chodemouth.WEDNESDAYOn wednesday morning the turnip price wont have changed at all. If you talk to daisy mae about this next sunday, she’ll say “Aw shucks, guess I plumb forgot about Wednesday morn’!” and give you a 50 bell rebate. On Wednesday evening the price will be 500 bells no harm no foul.THURSDAYOn Thursday morning the turnip prices will be either 300 or 250. or 400 or 95 or 100 or 21. On Thursday evening the turnip prices will be NaN floating point handler error.FRIDAYOn Friday morning the turnip prices will be equal to the length of the longest river on your island [in meters]. There is no Friday evening.SATURDAYOn Saturday morning the turnip price will be 100 bells. On Saturday evening the price will be 200 bells.SUNDAYNo selling turnips on Sunday, because that is the Lord’s day. -- source link
