timotay-chalamet:Shameless 5.08 | Uncle Carl | Lip GallagherMy little brother Ian, was just diagnosed bipolar. Everyday I’m here I just feel so fucking guilty, you know that I’m not there helping. The only reason I stay is ah. I can’t help because I spent my whole life trying to help my mom, who has the same disease and there’s no help for it.  Except the little ones, Debbie and Carl and Liam and my sister Fiona, I could be there for them but I’m not, because I’m here. Because I’m told that staying here, you know, that’s something I can do for those kids, you know in a big way, in a real way, someday. So I’m here. But if I go back to them, well then I’m in it and I can’t get back out it. -- source link
