Jewel Cabinet, 1851This jewel cabinet was designed for Queen Victoria and was put on display at the Great Exhibition in 1851. The cabinet includes portraits of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, along with the six of their children who had been born by that date. Also on the cabinet, which served as a dynastic statement, are the royal arms and the arms of Saxe-Coburg. There were several artists involved in making the various aspects of the cabinet, which was manufactured by Elikington Mason & Co. -- source link
