By carefully observing its neighbors such as Radobaan and Vaal hazak, it has learned how to use the environment not only as a means of protection, but also as a way to push beyond its physical limitations.Some notes: (take them with a grain of salt as I have no idea how any of this would work out in a gameplay setting or if they would make for a fair/interesting fight)–The armored phase is actually the middle phase. At a certain percentage of health Ghora will burrow deep underground for several seconds, enough time for players to sharpen/buff/heal, and then burst out of the middle of the arena covered in earth and decay. Players must be careful not to get too close when it emerges, or they’ll be sent flying.–Once it has been damaged enough, Ghora will fly high into the air and then come crashing down in a massive Nergigante-style divebomb that will launch chunks of its armor in all directions. Afterwards, it will be naked once more and phase 3 will begin.–This armored form is much faster and more aggressive than Shara’s, especially when enraged. It hounds the player with an onslaught of heavy attacks, many of which cause ground tremors and even shockwaves.–Some attacks will fling shards of bone at the player. The amount of damage and knockback varies depending on the attack. Breaking parts of its body will diminish this feature.–Ghora’s flight capabilities are limited. It won’t be zipping around like Rathalos, but it will be able to pull off some impressive leaping attacks and occasionally knock the player around with wind-pressure as it repositions.–The armor that extends the length of Ghora’s tail can be cut off, yielding some extra carves. This can be done with both severing and blunt weapons. Once it sheds the armor, the opportunity will be lost for the rest of the fight.–While it will no longer use its vibration abilities during this phase, it will still use its winghands to claw and scrape at the player.–The jawbones covering its head and neck are always moving, seemingly of their own accord. -- source link
