sammneiland: so i’ve sorta been… theorizing on the timeline and storyline of janelle monae’s metropolis suites as i’ve been listening to the new album and relistening to her previous ones. which, by the way, if you haven’t listened to her music then fucking do it right now like i don’t care how listen to this woman’s amazing music and fill in on her story yourself. anyway, so here’s my theory on the storyline which i’m basing off of the details i’ve gotten from album art inserts, music videos, as well as the lyrics in the songs their selves. i’ve also put it under a read more because its pretty big and long and also might be spoilery kinda sorta?
