The Forerunners of Fate (2/4) Groc the Hobgoblin Paladin. Groc had always struggled to find a place in society as most were too afraid to ever look at the towering hobgoblin. He finally found employ aboard a pirate vessel where his physique came in handy, but soon even the captain began fearing what Groc could do and after they had plundered the lost treasure of an especially lonely island, the crew stranded Groc to die on his own. Filled with rage and a yearning for vengeance, Groc swore an oath to Davy Jones in exchange for safe passage to the mainland, where he could finally begin his hunt for the traitors he once sailed with. -- source link
