snakeoutbrisbane:Eastern blue tongued lizard (Tiliqua scincoides)CUTENESS!!! Interesting call, a client found an adult eastern blue-tongue lizard in her upstairs bedroom, along with a newborn in a closet across the hall. It appears this young mum has found a warm, secure birthing location in the upstairs spare bedroom. As evident from these snappy little newborns, blue-tongues are live-bearers, the eastern having 6-20 ready-to-go young. We found a total of 7 in bedrooms, bathrooms, in shoes, behind bookshelves etc. All were released in a nearby bushland, away from mum who takes no further care of her young.
