This photo was originally made for my friend Sam. There was actually a small series of these made out to a few tumblr friends a while back. why the series? I think because without the friendship, support and encouragement that i was given by them i probably would had given up taking photography as a hobby. it’s just that amazing how a simple “way to go” can stretch the heart and soul. At first, I wanted to figure out if I could pull off a metatron’s cube but at that time I was way ahead of myself and couldn’t possibly achieve anything like it. Jessica Eaton can take care of that gloriously and professionally already. so it stayed simple. again with the double exposures forming a psuedo hexagon or a humorous shadow of a cube without the vertices. But the cross… oh my. The double cross bared such a strong statement, I couldn’t help but to incorporate the capture. Sam and I have a liking to most things LA Noir so I guess I nerded out pretty good on this one. I thought, “Yeah! Double Cross!, nothing gets more Raymond Chandler than that!”I was hoping to get the subject on a primary color such as blue but unfortunately the skies in Los Angeles that afternoon was somewhat hazy. “better luck, better luck, better luck, next time” -- source link
