First photograph taken this year;Pigeons must be the dirtiest flying creatures I’ve come across. When i was a child, my father would often tell me how they’re basically flying rats and handling one would be like handling a sewer rat. He would tell me this because i loved feeding both pigeons and rats. They were like tiny people… Migrating about, living and looking, touching and eating. They often grouped and stayed together. Just made sense and easier to feed them. I’d have better luck doing this than trying to feed a large group of people commuting on the streets on their way to whatever they felt was important like a job or school or even a beauty parlor and or a gym. It’s all the same, right? We’re not really going anywhere, we’re just moving our legs and going the distance to places. Nowhere in particular. Only places we think we are supposed to be or perhaps, places we are directed to. These pigeon rats have it simpler. Their purpose and direction just makes sense to me. They’re not pretty birds which we cage up by our own selfish will, corner them into submission but rather they are let free because they are dirty and wild. Dime a dozen. Do i have the unspicy meatballs to corner them ? No, simply, no. But maybe the sentiment will stay in a simple image.RichardAuxilio,2015 -- source link
