A few months ago I had the chance to make an illustration of beardy Spanish soccer star Alvaro “The Beast” Negredo for the World Cup issue of the beautiful and lushly designed 8x8 Magazine. Last night I attended the launch party of the issue, and found my piece, along with that of superstar and buddy Jonathan Bartlett, were displayed in a nice gallery setting.
