clayrodery: This is a thank you that goes out to fellow illustrator and friend ROXIE VIZCARRA. If you don’t think you’re familiar with her work already, GUESS AGAIN. Roxie’s jointly responsible for a ton of awesome shit that’s in the world right now, most recently the art of Grand Theft Auto V. Those illustrations have been blown up globally. Not every illustrator gets such worldwide display. No one gives a shit about Norman Rockwell in Hong Kong, but Roxie’s work is there, looming over everyone. She’s a barometer of success I measure my own by, and more often than not she leaves me thinking, “damn, I fuck around way too much.” She plays major league ball, and if you fancy yourself a player you can ONLY do your damndest to maybe meet her on the field. So again, if you don’t know her, get your ass together and recognize.
