ruthbancroftgarden: Aeonium sedifoliumWith its many tiny rosettes of jelly-bean-like leaves, Aeonium sedifolium looks much like a Sedum, and this is the reason for its name. However, its flowers show that it is actually an Aeonium (too many petals for a Sedum). It is from the Canary Islands, like most species in its genus, and it occurs on both Tenerife and La Palma. The leaves would redden more if it was grown in stronger light, but we do not dare plant it out in the open because of the limited cold-tolerance of many Aeonium species.-Brian -- source link
