felix-duskglass: this was just pointed out to me and I’d never thought about it but in the opening scene Jak is clean-shaven aside from his little goateemeaning that someone else was shaving him, because they’d never give a prisoner a razor…. obviously they did a lot of horrible things to him but it’s never really shown and can be easy to gloss over at times, and somehow it’s the little violations that really drive it home -- source link
