Accidental Luxuriance of the Translucent Watery Rebus (Dalibor Baric, 2020)Why create new images when the world’s overfull with ready ones - films, comics, design manuals, etc. - to sample, manipulate, make ones own, set plague? Extend that to ideas and plot. Extend that to the fabric of reality, existence then made fragmented, never certain, insensate. Extend again to memories, dreams, all vision. But if images lie down what’s to stop surveillance coming in to flood that void? I reached capacity with this much before it ended. I think that was the point.
