I’ve seen a lot of gorgeous historical yuri AU’s floating about and I wanted to participate so here’s a Russo-Japanese war AU The premise being that Yuuri learns about the Russian war hero Victor through postcard illustrations (during the Russo-Japanese war illustrated postcards were used as propaganda pieces but also occasionally featured Russian soldiers doing heroic things) Yuuri collects every postcard with Victor on it and eventually is sent to the war himself where he saves Victor from an attack or something probably. Basically this is just me proving that I can manipulate anything to serve a trashy fanart purpose even my sophomore art history project about postcard illustrations.
