Notice anything… off? Also, noticed how the scene was written… which is also kind of off in a way (Black people calling each other out just to put that “notion” to rest.) Now, I have stated that “Black people and PoCs can be racist… but to other Black people and PoCs” in this video right here. In short, Black people and PoCs can be racist. We just can’t get racist to the “majority” because we don’t have the institutional power… unless we use that institutional power against other People of Color. So yeah, you can “clap the hell out of this” scene if you want, but I want to keep these two little facts in mind while y’all celebrate whatever “victory” this supposes to mean.I think Im ready to wash my hands of this show.They just steal from Black people on social media and then warp the intent of the conversation.
