The tapestry-esque feel here, both in the framing and the almost woven feel of the textures, is really nicely done, I LOVE how elegantly you use the flowers of the backdrop to evoke the gold trims and symbols of Edelgard’s armor and how they curve and bend around her and the eagle in just the right ways to emphasize their presence really nicely. The soft curly look of Edelgard’s hair slipping out from under the crown is also really good, and I especially love how well you render the expression; it’s cool and calm on the surface, but the look of the eyes and the just-so set of the mouth suggest a LOT going on under the surface, a perfect choice for Edelgard. such a nice and insightful comment, thank you so much! ❤️ -- source link
