Tamarack trees, or Eastern larch, is among the few conifers that turn yellow and lose their leaves in the Fall. Though it may be surprising and one might suspect that the tree is dying or diseased they are perfectly healthy through this process. Huh. That’s interesting. Thanks. I grew up in North Idaho where these trees are common, if you have questions I might be able to help you in discerning what information is true about these trees. Yaay! North Idaho!
