amarnamiller:I think it’s time to talk about armpit hair. I love hair. I love to be hairy, and I love boys & girls who are hairy too. Unfortunately we live in a society that teaches women to shave in order to fit into the mold of femininity. For many years I myself tried to fulfill that same pattern of behavior, and I felt ashamed if I went out with my legs or underarms badly shaved. Over the years (and partly thanks to porn.) I have learned to love myself. But above all I have learned to make the decisions that have to do with my body and my life based on what I want to do, not what I’m supposed to do to meet the standards that are expected of me. I’m not less feminine for not being shaved. Neither am I less feminine for shaving. Sometimes I have to shave for my work, and that’s also ok. Each one of us has to do what we think best. The summary of this post is: Your body is yours. Use it as you please. ✨ Nothing more to add really. -- source link
