60s / 70s straw bag hand made by Betty from The Garment DistrictThank you Betty for the wonderful juicy grape bag. The grapes are 3 dimensional, made of knitting thread (it feels like wool), and faux leaves and vines. I think it is very unique that the grapes are not the plastic faux fruits but balls of knitting thread, and also the inside is beautifully decorated by the gold ribbon.I’m sure Betty was pretty crafty :) She should be proud of herself because her bag is still in use over a half decade :) -- source link
