I came home this evening to find a note from a parcel delivery company. Sorry the packaging burst open, have left the delivery with next door. What was I to do, the only thing I could remember ordering was a pair of glittery heels. How damaged was the box, would they be visible? I had hardly time to come up with an answer when my neighbour, A rather nice fella, knocks on my door, he must have heard me coming in. ‘Been working at home today and the delivery guy left this.’ He handed me a very battered box. 'They will look great, are you taking your girl somewhere nice?’ I blushed deep red. He smiled 'No girlfriend then?’ I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me. He studied me very carefully, up and down. 'Whatever, they look fantastic.’ He turned to leave, my heart began to slow down, maybe he was just teasing me, with a hand on the door as he closed it he made his last comment 'I know somewhere those shoes would be just right, if you have a dress to go with them we could make it a date.’ Arghhh was the only sound in my head as the door clicked shut. -- source link
