bybloemencomic:This week in Bybloemen: Gertrude turns the tables on Basil, probably(?) unintentionally BybloemenHiveworks ComicsSomething a little different this week: if you like Bybloemen, you will probably also enjoy some of these fine webcomics that I’ve been (re)reading:Ghost Junk Sickness - A gorgeous black and white space opera, about a team of bounty hunters trying to hunt down a mysterious (and deadly) bounty known as “The Ghost”. Like fantastic action sequences and great character writing? This comic gives you both! Give this one a shot if you’re a fan of Trigun or Cowboy Bebop, as this is tailor-made for you. Never Satisfied - If you’re a Hiveworks reader, you’re most likely already reading this award-winning comic about a group of magician apprentices competing for the coveted title of Representative, but if you’re not: you should be! The art is absolutely stunning, and the cast of characters is diverse, well-written, and always compelling. Come for the magical teens and beautiful setting, stay for the interpersonal drama, creeping danger, and political machinations that make you want to simultaneously hug, root for, and shake some sense into them. Hans Vogel is Dead - Ace pilot Hans Vogel is Dead, his plane shot down in a routine raid. Waking up in Märchenwald, a fairy tale setting that is not entirely what it seems, he’s granted a second opportunity to die a better death. If a complex protagonist, incredible depth of historical research, and a talking fox (sorry, Reinke!) are your cup of tea, don’t miss this one. If you like historical fantasy this is an absolute must-read, with an ongoing kickstarter campaign. A Ghost Story - If you’re here for the black comedy, may I suggest this excellent comic about two unlicensed paranormal investigators and their dubious adventures dealing with ghost problems (and also, on occasion, getting unceremoniously dealt with by said ghosts). Jack and Maxine pretty much never fail to make me laugh, sometime laugh and cringe, sometimes worry for their psychological health and safety, but man is the dialogue always stellar. SDLFKJSDFL THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUCH A LOVELY FEATURE!! Hans Vogel is in such a spectacular lineup, please check out all these comics they’re delightful!! -- source link
