she-goes-to-eleven: Might as well go out with a bang, right? Over the years I’ve had this blog, I’ve been asked by many followers why I don’t post pics of myself. The answer is kinda long and complicated, and doesn’t really matter. But, seeing as how this blog won’t be here much longer, I figure… what the hell! I think this is a perfect pic to post as the last thing I ever post on tumblr. It’ll probably get flagged (female-presenting ass). But it’s fitting because it’s of me, symbolically turning my back to tumblr, while facing a drawing I made of an amazing tumblr mutual. I’m super pissed at tumblr, but I’m so thankful for the handful of very special relationships that have come from it. That’s what this photo is about. The bonus for you guys is that you get to see my bum. Many of you have asked, so, you’re welcome ;) I haven’t yet decided what I’m going to do next. Admittedly, I’ve been enjoying the break from tumblr a bit—filling that time with things I’ve been meaning / wanting to do. Lately tumblr was, at times, feeling like a bit of a chore tbh. As my follower count grew, so too did messages, and I was finding it hard to keep up! In the end, this might have been the break I didn’t know I needed all along. I’m going to spend some time over Christmas thinking about what I want to do next. I might start up somewhere else, but the thought of all this happening again on a different platform might be too much to bear. And let’s face it: while tumblr turned into a total asshole, it was really great and special and unique for a good long while there. I’m not sure there’s a good replacement out there. If I do decide to start up somewhere else, I promise one more post here, letting you know where I’m going. I already have the contact info of most of you who are really special to me, so we’ll be able to keep in touch that way at the very least. with love, Kat -- source link
